GZD-1B Cable Fault Locator

1Description

This equipment integrates HV Murray Bridge and HV surge wave pin-pointing. It is specially designed for cable manufacturers. GZD-1B Cable Fault Locator has the advantage of high quality and low price, convenient operation, quickly and exactly locating cable faults. To some broken cable faults, digital capacitance meter can be used to pre-locate the faults and HV pulse is used to finish pin-pointing.

2Function

It has four kinds of function:

1. DC HV withstanding test

It can export 0-15kV DC and it can be used for DC HV withstanding test.

2. Burning through the fault point

To some high resistance cable fault, it can be used to burn through the fault point. It make more easy to locate the fault point.

3. Pre-locate the fault

Its Murray bridge can be used to pre-locate the fault point.

4. Pin-pointing the fault point

Its maximal discharge energy is 225J. Operator can hear the discharge sound to pin-point the fault.
